This story is supposed to be a puff piece, eloquent prose to permanently elevate the people behind the Daejeon Magical Accords to the top shelf of the shrine of history.
I've always enjoyed prologues, interstitials, chapter headers, etc...that give a different perspective into the world where the story takes place than the main narrative.
They're nice for fleshing out the lore of the world.
Yes, I agree! I love it when there is shading through those little snippets. It is possible for them to get too long and be a bit distracting, but done in moderation the richness that those kinds of additions can give to a world is so helpful for building that sense of immersion.
